Saas Redux!!! MOMOMO POW!!!

This winter is off the scale...snow, more snow, and more more SNOW!!! After watching the radar for 3 days Jay, KK, and I headed off on a mission to find the pow. We made a last minute decision to hit Saas Fee in the corner of the Vallis.

We dawn patrolled it on Saturday AM and arrived after a 3 hour drive to lifts closed and a snowy day. At around 10 it opened up and I opened up the big camera (thanks Mom and Dad!)


The clouds were around but so was a little clearing! Jay was stoked!

That PM Tom joined us and we bunked up in a nice little two room studio for 35CHF PP..a great deal in CH...ski in ski out!
The next day it was on again with Tom!

..and KK!

..another great day. KK and Tom had work on Monday but J and I took the day off, so they headed home and J and I grabbed another room and waited for the clearing in the AM..and CH did not disappoint!

We left Monday at around 4pm....BEAT and when I mean beat....totally spanked. I arrived home to some great chicken soup and a nice warm hug from KK. Another one for the books.....what a great 2009!
