Rain, snow, wind..it didn't matter...we still ski here in CH!

So another week passed and it was off to the mountains. The only thing that was a challenge...there was no snow and it was 15+c in Geneva....but with Jason coming in from Africa (see prior post for Jason Bio) we were not going to disappoint.

Friday night we picked up Jason at the Laussane train station. He arrived from London earlier in the day and was making the trip down. After a nice meal we drove down to Matigny and stayed the night.

The next morning we woke up to rainy 10C weather but who cared it was time to ski. We headed to Verbier and made the best of a marginal day.

That night after the wonderful day of skiing we headed into Aigle to stay the night. We stayed at the Hotel Du Nord right near the gare. Not a bad room and a great view:

That night we ro-sham-bowed for food and KK won with a chinese fondue:

The AM we woke to a much better day and headed to G3 to meet with Tom, Jay, Addy, and Tammy. First we hooked Jason up with some skis and a new lid ;-)

We arrived at G3 to a mixed day but it looked like it would clear:

Once up on the slopes it turned out to be not that bad and we showed Jason a good time! (I think ;-)

As always we had a great time with friends, skiing, food, and just enjoying life here in CH. More to come this week. Keep your fingers crossed....THE SNOW IS COMING!

On a side Jay broke his ski from too much steeze! Nice work bro ;-)He was stoked to ski half way down on his ass!
