Carve, bike, work....Fall is here!....and Winter is soon to follow :-)

Friday rooled around again and KK and I invited the next door neighbors and their children over to carve pumpkins. This was a little early but the only time that aligned for all of us. Louis, Alice, Clair, Masea, and Charles showed up with a few pizzas and bottle of wine..we supplied the pumpkins. After some food it was on to the main events...pumkin carving. For the kids this was the first time they ever did this so it was fun watching them draw and play with knives ;-)

The kids loved it and we enjoyed talking with the neighbors about CH and FR.

The next day I got up early to meet Jay for the first time back on the bikes since the infamous Metabief crash day. I hooked up with Jay in Lausanne and it was off to Champary. We arrived to an empty parking lot and a great day...here is the evidence.

The day was perfect! No crashes, good catching up with J, and just a chill CH day. We headed back to Lausanne and picked up KK at the train station for a little dinner with Jen (the master cook), Jay, Tom, and Tammy. Dinner was great and we called it a night early.
Sunday KK kept finishing the place off. I worked the curtain rods and K the curtains. I also did a little work on my sunglass case.

Overall a great weekend in CH. More to come as always. Looking forward to see the fams!

The cows are coming home...CH style!

So after two weeks of traveling it was time to catch up with CH and give her some lovin. KK and I heard the cows were coming down because Winter was around the corner, so we went to check it out. With our Danish friend Mette we headed up towards Mont D'or on the Jura. Upon arriving we noticed it was a party....with COWS!

The next day we woke to a very clear and sunny day and headed for brunch. On the way we headed through Christiania (Check link to see what it is about) LINK

4pm struck and we had to grab a plane, so after checking out Claus's new bike we gave K and T a kiss goodbye and Claus gave a us a ride to the airport. We left at 6 and we were home chilling on the couch by 8:30. A great short trip..but to short. Copenhagen and the company was great.... and we look forward to going back very soon.
