Rewind...Zinal 08

So last year KK and I hit Zinal in late November for a great day of skiing. This year it was opening day and with Jay and Alex in tow we had sun, pow, and great day to start the season. KK and I sayed in Sion on Friday night (cool town) and had a nice dinner. In the AM we woke up to this from outside the hotel:

Jay met us at the hotel and then it was up the hill. We grabbed the 2nd bucket to the plateau and the main lifts. There was about 150 people there but not super crowded.


The off piste was looking a little rocky so we warmed up on the piste.

After a few warm up laps we saw a guy rip the big bowl and the top and it looked like he didn't hit rocks...so we decided to rock it!

A great start to the season..so let the snow fly..Ullr we are ready!
