The choice was made for me......

After a week of mixed weather and snow in the forecast KK and I had an appointment with Andermatt. Almost every weekend we battle with where the snow is? what will be less crowded? what is the best? etc? etc?...but luckily this weekend the choice what made. We were off to Andermatt in central CH to meet up with Jason a friend of KKs now living in Swaziland and over here on business.....yes Swaziland!

We left work on a half day and headed into the Valais to catch a train through the Furkapass into Realp very near A-Matt. After about 2+ hours of driving and a pass through a town called Bitsch (enter laugh track here and see pic below) we arrived to jump on board a cool car train.

Upon arrival it was snowing in A-Matt and KK and I got our room (much better than the past few) and went into town for a nice dinner.

The next AM we woke up to a message from Jason and a nice snowy/cloudy day. 10+cm had fell overnight and freshened up the off-piste. We hooked up woith Jason at the Gemmstock lift and started to log the meters!

After a quick snack it was on to get another 3000M. By the end of the day we logged 9000+M (29,527 ft) We eneded the day with a nice fondue and beer in town.

The next AM the sun broke through and it was on to log another 5000M!

Overall we logged 16,400M (53,805ft)! That is 25+ top to bottoms at Mount Snow! Again a sick weekend in CH! I continue to feel blessed daily for the great life I have been given to lead. Special thanks to my parents to whom I miss and love daily! Your support and love is felt here in CH.

After the exciting weekend what else was left...only to VOTE!!!! Yes VOTE! This year we hooked up with Dems Aboard and voted in essentially and Expat primary.
