Friday night started out with Paul and I playing 7 games of PingPong in Place Neuve. Paul won 4-3 (but I won the last 3 straight) so I feel I can come back from my current 12 to 6 deficit in the running summer match series. After our match we drank a beer and caught up on life.

We had plans to meet up later with Perdo, some of the "Portuguese" mafia, Marlene, Carla, and Scott at La Terrasse in Paquis.
It was a beautiful day so we met up with the crew and chilled on the lawn next to the lake.

After a little drink and some food we went out to Pickwicks which turned out to be the normal laugh with P+P.

The night eneded uneventfully but later than expected.
Saturday started a little cloudy but I got up an headed to meet up with Jay and Al @ G3. Another beautiful day unfolded as I drove up to the glacier. I ended up on the glacier around 10:30 and found Jay on skis (actually one of my sets) for the first time in 20 years. He was struggling a little but I decided that I would help with a few tips. Al was with Bill and Mike (nice guys!) so they headed into the Combe and Jay and I headed to the "Key". We took the first run down a mild slope and I gave J some tips. After 3 more runs he was ROCKING!

I was doing my best rockstar style too!

After about 4 laps Al and the boys showed up so it was time for some more laps. Al and Jay..weird seeing him on skis:

Jay's muscles were feeling it, so Al, Mike, Bill and I headed for a Combe run. Al and Bill:

The day ended with lots of smiles.

Instead of heading back to Geneva, where I didn't really have many plans, I went to Jay's to relax on his porch in Pully. We cooked sausages, drank a few beers (of course only 2 I was driving), and just relaxed and talked about life. Jay is a good friend and a master gardener too:

Jay hooked my up with a Rosemary sprout for my flat too!

View from his crib:

I drove back to Geneva around 9 and felt again that I am so blessed to live this life. I arrived home, cooked up some noodles and watched a movie. Another sick day!
Sunday approached and for the first time in.....I have no idea how many weeks I was able to sleep until 9AM...WOOOOOHOOOOO! After some breakfast, cleaning my flat, and just relaxing I decided to break out the summer sticks. I headed to a somewhat local range near St. Julien in France.

Another day to keep in a jar....80F and sunny..perfect!!! The flowers in CH like it too!

After golf I decided this would be a good day to drive up the lake and see what the options are like to move out of Geneva in and into Canton Vaud. I drove the lake road to see 3 towns,Coppet, Rolle, and Morge. In that order they snake up the lake from Geneva to Lausanne. Each had it's own unique charm. Coppet was quite, really CH, and chill. Looks expensive though:

Rolle was next on the list and I really like this place....just feels right:

I need to live in one of these flats:

Morges was a little bigger but still chill. I drove home in about 35 minutes from Morges so all of these would be options.
On my travels I stopped at a garden center (Jay must have given me the bug) and picked up some additions to the flat...a little herb garden:

I am now back in Geneva relaxing and about to cook dinner. Life is good and I continue to smile daily. I am so lucky to live here and have the love in my life that I do. From my parents, from KK, and from my new and old friends......THANK YOU!
