First days...

Day #1 and Day#2:
I arrived in Frankfurt after an uneventful flight from Boston and took a cab to the Schosshotel in Kronberg. After taking an hour nap I took a walk through the local park and relaxed in the autumn-like weather (60ish) I ventured for awhile looking for the road I would live on. I must have walked right by now accommodations, but didn’t know it. I wander a little longer and then headed to the local cafĂ© for catch a few Weissbier and read “On the Road.” The rest of the day was relaxing and I went to bead early preparing for good first day.

Day two started with drive from a cute German girl in a 745 BWM to the office. I checked in and began the barrage of email, getting badges, keys, etc. The day was filled with talking with my new team and getting ready to move into the temp apartment. By the end of the day I was equipped with access to the building, key to my apartment, a phone, and a Golf TDI. I left the office around 6:30 and started searching for my place. I must have driven by it 4 times until I figured out which on was mine. I entered into the apartment finding 2 bedrooms and huge living room, kitchen, etc. This place was perfect…maybe even a little big. I grabbed my bags and emptied them in the apartment. I then proceeded to the store to get some essentials… beer and red bull diet. I returned home, unpacked, made the bed and I am now chilling.

TIP OF THE DAY: Bring your own bag or tell the teller at the grocery store you need one at check-out.
