Paleo 2008..VTT...Annecy

Friday night KK and I headed with a small crew to Paleo 2008. There were no bands that we were very excited to see but went just for the atmosphere which was very good on a nice Summers evening.Waiting for the shuttle trains:

The next AM I woke for the last time to the Marche :-(

..but was heading to PDS for some biking!

The next day Karen and I enjoyed the last day in Carouge (pre-move) and had a nice b-fast at home. After we headed to Annecy to go sailing but at the last minute got rained out. Overall another cool weekend.

Bikey Bike Bike!! VTT in full effect at PDS!

After a brief visti to IE for a little work I was bak on Friday to enjoy the weekend in CH. KK picked me up from the airport and we checked out another apartment on our endless search for a new place. After a nice night out with Pedro (good luck in Kiev)I got up early to hook up with J and Fabien at PDS. The day was perfect and so was the riding!The crew:

After packing up we met KK and Jen for a little BBQ. Thanks Jen for the chow...it was perfect! The crew enjoying Pully:

That night we got home and chilled. Sunday we woke and did an nice brunch at Chez GG and KK with DD coffee and smuggled bacon from IE. After chilling we headed to Annecy adn were about to go sailing but got rained out :-(...but now we know that it is possible to get a boat and instuctor so look for some sailing pics in the near future.

As always....we are blessed to live such a wonderful life here in CH!

PS: Family... we miss you greatly. KK and I talked about you all last night. Keep in touch and call soon.

July Biking in CH!

Monsoon season hit GE, but it luckily it cleared for a few rides.


KK was in Poland so PK and I waited out the storm and hit up Les Crozet (Jura) in the after on Saturday. When we arrived the only "things" that were there were dogs and sheepy!!!


PK and I were the only ones there....except 2 lift attendants that turned the lift on for us!

Luckily there was a nice breeze and a little sun to dry things off and PK and I rocked it out:



KK was coming home so we cut it around 5 headed home for a quick shower and then to the airport...where else can you do this in the world???

The next day turned out to be the same...rainy but manageable. KK, PK, and I decided a nice ride in the countryside would be good so we headed out to Satigny and the vineyards:



Overall a 3 hour ride and we escaped the rain.

Even on a rainy weekend CH still rocks!
